The Involute Worm Gear Boxes/Reduction Gear Units are worm type units with modular construction. The units comprise of hardened ground worms with centrifugally cast bronze gears.
The Worm Gear Boxes/Reduction Gear Units when combined with an additional Helical Gear Unit can give particularly low output speeds. The helical gears are hardened and ground to close tolerances.
